Emma always hated Fort Kairos and swore she would never go back. However, her father—the commanding Brigadier—left her little choice in the matter. Her return would thrust her into an adventure that would take her across history and beyond, to the far reaches of Deep Time facing enemies old and new. But new friends and family along the way would help her to heal old wounds and find the answers to questions she never asked but still needed to know.
