Publisher Description

I show how the verses in the King James Bible are not based on the earliest manuscripts as our Modern Bibles are. The disputed verses of the King James Bible support the Creeds. The Creeds were written to defeat what Trinitarian scholars and pastors would call heretical views about the nature of Jesus. The Athanasian Creed was written against the idea that Jesus did not exist before He was begotten as a human and thus He would have one nature. The Athanasian states Jesus' divine and human natures are in union. The Chalcedonian Creed was written against the idea that the divine and human natures of Jesus were separate because Jesus as 2 persons would be heretical. The problem is did Jesus receive the Holy Spirit at baptism? The Creeds state that the Holy Spirit is a person. The four gospels read the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus but do not say if Jesus received the Holy Spirit as the new believers in the Acts of the Apostles did. Jesus as God's firstborn (chosen) son is the Old Testament model to understand the Godhead.
