Light and fun
To be honest, I did struggle with this book, especially with the first half. Thoughts of abandoning it crossed my mind more than once because I found the story awfully predictable and corny. BUT after I “relaxed” and took it for what it is (a classic chick-lit), I found the book quite enjoyable! It’s light, fun, romantic, quite steamy in parts, and it does lift your spirit! So 4* stars for that!
