The Truth Seeker

Torai Na Firinne. 'Truth Seeker.' A man or woman who found things out that needed finding. Who uncovered the truth, because someone had to? Strictly speaking Goban wasn't sure he was one. His uncle had been one, and a great one at that, before he retired, and Goban...well, he'd agreed to do the job. He'd given Rioana his word, back when they'd been together, and giving your word to one of the shining folk was always a tricky thing. Goban knew why. The sound - the cry of a woman in anguish, howling in desperate grief. It was impossible to ignore. Impossible for him to ignore. He didn't know why yet and he didn't know where, but somewhere nearby a banshee had cried out. That could only mean one thing.
