Publisher Description

George Gordon Byron was born on January 22, 1788. He was the sixth Baron in his aristocratic family that was fading rapidly. Byron was one of the most famous and the most notorious romantic poets. He was one of the most important figures of the Romantic Movement. He was a man of his own, living an unconventional life and an incredible writer who produced brilliant, emotion-stirring works. He died young in Greece, while pursuing heroic and romantic adventures, in 1824.

In this book is found one of his most famous poems, Don Juan. This satiric poem is based on the legends about Don Juan. He is presented as a man who is very easily seduced by women. This poem consists of sixteen cantos, fully completed, and one, the seventeenth, canto unfinished, because of his death.

If you enjoy reading poems, especially poems written by great poets like Byron was, this book is the right choice.
