George Gordon Byron was born on January 22, 1788. He was the sixth Baron in his aristocratic family that was fading rapidly. Byron was one of the most famous and the most notorious romantic poets. He was one of the most important figures of the Romantic Movement. He was a man of his own, living an unconventional life and an incredible writer who produced brilliant, emotion-stirring works. He died young in Greece, while pursuing heroic and romantic adventures, in 1824.
