VIETNAM WAR SERVICE

Captain Casey was assigned to MACV (Military Advisory Command Vietnam).  His qualifications were his West Point background, his command experience in Germany, his language schooling at DLI, and his experience with the 155mm howitzer.  He was to be the senior advisor to the ARVN 36th Artillery battalion, the IV Corp’s (delta) only 155 mm support (big guns).
