When The Unexpected Comes

How scary it is to be a child at bedtime, alone, in the dark, and no one believes you about ghosties or the monsters that come creeping out when Mom and Dad turn off the light and close the door. And why do the Unexpected always come in the dark? If there are no ghosts or things that take flight, then what those things that go bump in the night? What can be done when the Unexpected come.
