Young Adult: A Perspective Through Poetry & Writings is a collection of 74 poems written about the adults we become and finding ourselves becoming more of in this trans-formative age of the mid-20s through identity, vulnerability, emotional pain, self-love, perspective & much more. There aren't enough young black authors in the world and that perspective needs to be told. Poets have the ability to create new functionality within their native language, I attempt to do the very same. With my style of writing the reader will get a sense of abstract thought funneled into something of simplistic beauty throughout roughly 154 pages.
