Edward Stratemeyer (1862-1930) was American businessman and writer. He was one of founders of book-packaging technique based on using of work of multiple freelance authors and used it for his own enterprise, Stratemeyer Syndicate. This was a great contribution to forming of children’s fiction genre.

Four Boy Hunters is children’s novel by Edward Stratemeyer, written under penname Captain Ralph Bonehill. It is the third novel in the Boy Hunters series. The story tells of another venture of the boys the Gun Club and their discovery of a magnificent lake. And besides fascinating views, our heroes will find a portion of fresh adventures with rivals, bears and ghosts. That is what they have a real knack for after all.
