An Uninvited Visitor
Descripción editorial
Many who write may be using old-fashioned methods. The typewriter beats handwriting; that's for sure. Does dictation to a language recognition program represent an even better method? This article shows a story as it was originally created, then as dictated to a language recognition program, Dragon Naturally Speaking. These programs are not perfect. An author needs to read what the program has done. This article shows an original story as it was actually published and a dictation effort that was made in order to reproduce the original story. The original story is shown first, then the dictated version. (The dictated program includes half a dozen, or so, punctuation marks not included in the original published story.)
