Apache Gauntlet

Ben Clifton was one jump ahead of a posse, being hounded for a crime he didn't commit. He just wanted to keep moving until he could cross the Texas border. But fate had other ideas.

Stone Wolf and a hundred blood-thirsty Apache bucks had skipped the reservation and were determined to tear up the territory. That included a bunch of know-nothing settlers that Ben suddenly found himself responsible for.

All at once he had to forget about escape and concentrate on getting the settlers to safety. But that was going to be easier said that done, because Stone Wolf was on his heels every step of the way.
