Arthur, AKA “Bear”, a building contractor in New Orleans has fallen hard for Valentine, a sweet, quirky woman with eclectic jobs—like posing as a nude model for art classes. But she barely seems to know he exists, until he saves her from a would-be mugger. After that, things change overnight, but she’s still keeping him at arm’s length. Even though he wants to prove to her that he’s nothing like the men from her past, he’s trying to pretend that he can do casual, but it’s too late—he’s already all in.
