Flash Fiction Online November 2016

An anomaly has happened at Flash Fiction Online. Either that or the planets have aligned. Either way, we’re running stories from three returning FFO authors. 

Samantha Murray with “Boxes and Lockets and Clocks,” a touching fantasy story about a mother’s love—or lack thereof.

Alexis A. Hunter with “Perfectly Not Normal,” a mother loves her child even though nothing about this relationship is close to normal, nor would anyone want it to be. It’s perfect just the way it is.

Matt Dovey returns with “Quartet of the Far-Blown Winds,” a lyrical science fiction story about a mother’s missing relationship with her daughter.

Our reprint selection is from J.W. Alden, “Project Earth is Leaving Beta.” We think you’ll appreciate this quick-witted take on Earth’s origin.
