Neelie Nelson finds her grandmother irritating beyond belief. She's always going on about being a true Gypsy. Whatever.
Everything changes the day she brings out the crystal ball, with its hypnotic sparkling and the strange magnetic pull.

After her grandmother's death, Neelie packs the crystal ball away, and doesn't look at it again until she is desperate to find out what has happened to her husband. Instinctively she knows something is terribly wrong, and her hands shake uncontrollably when she unwraps it and feels its vibration once more.

What will it reveal in its deep, swirling core?
