Oxford is a beautiful and historic city in the south of England. The High Street has been described as the most scenic in Europe. Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire is a historic town on the river Avon. It is most well known as the birthplace of the English playwright and poet, William Shakespeare. Today, Stratford-upon-Avon is the home of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and their riverside theatre. It is a major tourist destination in the United Kingdom.
