There’s a new artifact out in the world, and already a race to claim it. Not only from the usual suspects. Someone new is interested in artifacts, as awareness of them spreads.

Amanda has enough trouble dragging the Euclideans into the present, but the (increasingly less) secret society does not respond calmly to threats. When the other councillors can view it as her fault, Amanda has to find a way to turn the threat to her advantage, before she becomes expendable.
