The Lone Wolf Returns

Michael Lanyard, once the thief called the Lone Wolf, comes back to New York and finds that a reformed reputation is the easiest thing in the world to steal. Louis Joseph Vance wrote eight Lone Wolf novels and this is the fifth; the character became a film series that outlived the books. The burglary set pieces are still excellent.
