$50.00 and a DREAM

“$50.00 and a DREAM” is a “How-to” manual, in a way. It is a step-by-step description of how a small, unincorporated community in the rural Ozarks of Southern Missouri came together to bring the “Impossible Dream” to reality. It is an accounting of how grit and determination can prevail against almost impossible odds. This story contains much useful information important to anyone starting a new Senior Center in a rural area, or just about anywhere else.

It is also a testimonial to the drive and energy, as well as the Inspiration, Imagination and determination that can still be generated by a group of senior citizens who can still find a need, and fill it!
