Blazing Backup For Bluegrass Banjo

Some of the most exciting banjo playing in bluegrass is performed behind the vocal. World-renowned instructor, Eddie Collins, has created a high-level instruction course providing insights as to the types of licks found in backup and how to use them to develop your own backup style. Thirty-five back-up passes played to twelve classic bluegrass tunes are presented. The influences of heroes such as Earl Scruggs, J.D. Crowe and Don Reno are purposely interspersed throughout the playing. The goal is to recognize how various licks are used in order to add them to your own backup. Five different keys are incorporated in the songs to further your dexterity.  Multimedia, such as video clips, audio files (both fast and slow) and pop-up photos are interspersed throughout to enhance your learning experience.
