Creativity in the Garden

Welcome to the first book of the Beyond Our Classroom series. We believe that walls should never define a learning environment. With the world as our classroom, Apple technologies connect us to people, places, and ideas, transforming teaching and learning. This book is created for educators and students who seek to embed the garden into their learning environment. We organized this book into authentic areas of study, specifically designed and written for upper elementary and middle school learners. Each area of study includes a brief introduction, three learning components—Discover, Investigate, Create—and Apple apps suggestions for project management and creation. We wrote this book in student-friendly language and encourage educators to share this book with students for designing garden-based learning experiences.
