Wegman photographs the dogs in active poses, then draws and paints settings around them: one worried dog, ears and legs akimbo, is posed atop a roughly drawn bicycle careening toward the ground ("Yikes, it's Mike!/ He's riding a bike./ He might do better/ on a trike").
