We start by exploring mobile unified communications, integrating multiple mobile and fixed devices, locations and applications to offer seamless communication across voice, data and video. We then look at spectrum management and map out strategies to reduce demand, accelerate reuse, and recycle spectrum for greater efficiency. Next, we discuss the security landscape for communications providers and assess how well the industry is combating risks based on the findings of The Global State of Information Security® Survey 2014.  Finally, we consider the cloud, where operators urgently need to stake out their positions as cloud providers, and make the changes needed to deliver these services.
