Abstract: Greg Lynn and Enric Ruiz-Geli discuss Villa Nurbs, a house a house by Enric Ruiz-Geli / Cloud 9, located in Empuriabrava, Spain, that combines traditional craft with digital fabrication to place common materials in unconventional configurations and disrupt standardized construction methods. This is part of the CCA multi-year research project Archaeology of the Digital, investigating the development and use of computers in architecture.
