First Spell

Having a little brother who can outdo you in spell-craft sucks.

Keisha Broome has a magic problem. It just doesn't work well for her. Being a teenager in a small town is bad enough but being the only member of a magical family who can only cast a light spell is just plain horrible. Her brother jokes and tells her she has magical dyslexia, her mom encourages her and lets her know that it is all about being confident.
