Global Warming: Causes

Provide your students with insight into the science of our atmosphere and the effects of humanity’s actions on the Earth System. A scientific perspective on climate change will also help students separate fact from fiction in popular accounts of Global Warming in order to make informed decisions about products and lifestyle choices that affect the Earth System. We look at the makeup of the earth’s atmosphere to better understand the causes of Global Warming, as well as the common types of greenhouse gases. All concepts and vocabulary are presented in a way that makes the information accessible to students and easier to understand. Our resource is comprised of reading passages, comprehension questions, hands-on activities and color mini posters. All of our content meets the Common Core State Standards and are written to Bloom's Taxonomy.
