Murder, Curlers, and Cast: A Valentine Beaumont Mystery

It's all hands on deck when beautician Valentine Beaumont is cast as an extra in a pirate movie. When a dead body is discovered on the ship, it's clear there's a villain on board, and it's not just an act. 

Complicating things more, Valentine's personal life is in shambles. Boyfriend and hot detective Michael Romero has vanished from Valentine's world, and conveniently, her sexy employee Jock de Marco, who moonlights as a stuntman, is cast in the pirate movie as a tempting swashbuckler.

In order to unearth a murderer, dig deep into her personal life, and set her course straight, Valentine must face some hard truths, spy on cagey cast members, and hunt for lost treasure. Will she succeed in cracking the case and turning her life around, or fail and be forced to walk the plank?
