Tragic.

That's what people refer to when they think about my past. A series of tragic events that ultimately led to me ending up on the streets, wandering around looking for her—my sister Joey. She abandoned me in the foster care system when she turned eighteen, but not before she saved me from one of the worst homes we'd ever lived in.

My sister disappeared after that, and when I finally aged out of the system and went out to find her, she was knee deep in trouble with a violent MC club and I had the only bargaining chip to get her out. I never expected them to renege on our deal, beat the crap out of me, and take her underground again. But that's exactly what happened, and now I fear that Joey may be gone forever.

If it wasn't for the Celestial Sons MC, I probably wouldn't be alive, and I should be thankful for all their help, but I'm not about to let my guard down for another group of bikers, when my sister's life is in danger. But they are all I have, and now that Joey's time is ticking down, I have to do whatever I can to save her, even if it means asking for help from the group of men I secretly betrayed.
