Yumi is a beautiful and charming North Korean girl born in the early 70's.

North Korea is a monoethnic Country with very few outsiders.

In the late 1980s, when Yumi reached her teens, the number of foreigners permanently residing in North Korea was at its lowest point.

Furthermore, economic crisis and famine were impending.

In search of a future freer and different from the one that awaited both her and her peers, Yumi decides to flee to China with a friend of her youth.

Together, the couple begins a new adventure in China.

But life as an illegal immigrant isn't easy, and soon Yum will start finding jobs that would valorise her beauty.
