Race for Space 10: Apollo Draws Closer

With the Apollo spacecraft redesigned from the ground up, and amid fears that the USSR was about to send a manned spacecraft around the Moon, NASA took a massive but calculated gamble: to combine the first manned test of the giant Saturn V Moon rocket with a flight into lunar orbit.
