Race for Space 8: A Step Further

It wasn't all plain sailing for Gemini, but by the time the program ended in December 1966 all its objectives had been achieved and NASA was a big step closer to the Moon. Book 8 in the Race for Space series also looks at developments in the USSR, where the tragic loss of design bureau chief Sergei Korolev and a chronic lack of funding were already threatening to jeopardise Soviet hopes of a lunar landing.
