This rare publication is the first book published on rowing at Cambridge, and contains a history of rowing at Cambridge since 1827. It details the foundation of the major boat clubs, the history of eight-oared race between the Colleges, the results and accounts of the legendary Oxford vs. Cambridge races since 1829, and accounts of early rowing at Henley.
