Relationships? Been there. Regretted that.

I'm forty years old, successfully divorced, and perfectly capable of running my own life—keeping men in the fun-but-temporary category.

What I'm apparently not capable of doing is staying away from Wade Jenkins. 

He's too serious, protective, and bossy as hell. Exactly the kind of complication I swore I'd never invite back into my life.

We agree to keep things simple. No strings. No promises. Just two consenting adults having a damn good time.

Then trouble comes knocking, and Wade is determined to keep me safe.

Suddenly, our lives are impossible to separate, and the rules that made this arrangement so easy disappear one by one.

I've already survived one man turning my life upside down. I never expected another to make me want to risk my heart again. 

But maybe needing Wade and wanting him to stay are two very different things.
