The Man from Leningrad

In a clash of two global titans, only one nation can emerge victorious.


Spring 1966. With the CIA drawn into a game of high stakes with the Soviets, one of the agency’s most well placed assets in Leningrad, Alexsandr Zhirkov, suddenly goes silent—and no one knows why. The CIA sends agent Ed Maddux to meet with Zhirkov, but he remains dark, reluctant to share anything. But it’s clear something is wrong. What eventually emerges is a stark reality: The Soviets plan use one of its subs to launch a nuclear assault on the U.S. 


With little time to prevent such a brazen assault that will surely lead to World War III, Maddux must travel to the obscure launch point for the Russians’ sub in the Arctic in order to stop the attack and prevent global doom. And when everything goes south, Maddux must find a way to thwart the attack while ushering Zhirkov to safety.
