The Romantic Adventures of a Milkmaid

Margery Tucker is attractive but also quite headstrong daughter of a somewhat surly about upcoming dairy farmer. She is more or less destined to marry Jim Hayward.This young man is lime burner and runs with his older cousin, the widower Richard Vine, with whom he lives in the house. 


As Margery one day on the way back from visiting her grandmother she decides the long route which cut through to enter the premises of a country which claims to be that it is currently unoccupied.However, a sound attracts her attention and she notes that there is a man sitting in the gazebo. She hides behind to be caught as an intruder and wait for his departure off. If that proves to be long yet they take a look and see an obviously very despondent and desperate man sitting on a bench. 


When he notices her she sees that he puts something quickly in his pocket which it suspects is a gun. The two start talking and he keeps her talking. Then comes the postman with a letter which he obviously highly of redecorating and he expressed his gratitude to her for her presence at that very moment. He then offers her to reward her with a gift or a service. They can not think and he asks her to think about it until he comes at night by her house.
