Descripción editorial

Our brains are extraordinary organs. They function best when they’re nourished with love, healthy relationships, honesty and security. Children’s brains that are exposed to repeated cruelty are instead shaped by shame, confusion, judgment, lies, and fear. This is important because our brains are where our thoughts originate and assemble. Our thoughts influence our emotions, decisions and behavior.

God knew me in my Mother’s womb. He knew I would have a turbulent childhood and my brain would be affected. He knew that because of it, I would be disillusioned with Him. He knew I would walk backward in the dark before I walked forward in the light. He knew He would eventually help me, save me, give me back my dignity, and bring me to victory. He gave me a penname and together, we’ve written about my journey.

No person can love us like God does. He is love. He is also light. We are His children and we are meant to live in love and walk in light
