School’s out for the summer, and kindergarten teacher Lydia Monroe is officially on break.  Lydia loves everything about her life, including her annual visits to Massachusetts, where she spends a month enjoying the beach and long, lazy days with her family.


FBI Agent Tyler Corddry just received a new assignment. His objective is to investigate members of the Monroe political dynasty. Time is of the essence, and Ty needs a way to infiltrate the Monroes’ Massachusetts compound. His solution: Convince Lydia Monroe to help him before she leaves for her vacation.


Lydia wants nothing to do with Ty or his fake relationship scheme, but she quickly understands that if she wants to protect her family from his investigation, she doesn’t have a choice. 


Ty is all about his mission until he and Lydia start spending their days and nights together, and he realizes that she’s as sweet and funny as she is beautiful.   


But a summer full of lies has consequences, which Lydia and Ty will soon find out.
