Art in Science is part of the Smithsonian Science Stories Literacy Series. Art in Science features short stories that pair with the module, How Can We Change Solids and Liquids? Both are aligned to grade 2 standards and have a focus on science and engineering. In Art in Science, students will read about materials people use to make paint, pottery, and jewelry and the properties of the materials that show how art ties to science.
