That basically sums up my last failed attempt at a relationship. A guy in my position has a lot to lose, and I've already struck out in love once.

No way will I ever go there again.

That is until I meet Isabelle Mendez.

She's everything that I never even knew that I needed.

Everything that I could possibly want, all wrapped up in one fine package.

The only problem is, she's my son's teacher.


She has scars of her own, and the last thing that she needs in her life is a guy like me. The only problem is, I can't seem to get her off of my mind.
