While working for the British intelligence services, Lee Carmichael and Tristan Rhodes did their bit to protect their country. Much more than mere colleagues, together they now head one of the most prominent cybersecurity companies in the world.

However, the relationship they've shared since university is missing something vital—or rather, someone. That someone is Thea Nelson, head of one of their cryptography teams.

After a traumatic event left her mentally and emotionally scarred and fearing for her life, Thea turned her back on everything and everyone she knew and went to London in search of a fresh start. She found it when she went to work for Archer CyberSec, a world leader in the field in which she'd chosen to work. Having sworn off relationships, she is instead content to fantasise from afar about the two gorgeous, unavailable men for whom she ultimately works.

Everything changes when Lee and Tris ask Thea to accompany them to a cybersecurity conference. The unattainable becomes possible, but then the spectre from Thea's past returns and casts a threatening shadow over both their happiness and their future…
