Sanctuary in St. John

For three years the beautiful island of St. John has provided sanctuary. It has been a place of rest and a safe haven from the outside world. An unexpected love arrives and threatens the solitude and peace that was so carefully constructed.

Attorney Lexi Baker came to St. John to escape her identify and recover from the terror that forever changed her life, with the hope of one day being able to return home to the family and friends left behind when she escaped.

When she has a chance encounter with country music sensation Ryan Daley, her life once again takes an unexpected turn. As she falls in love with Ryan, Lexi struggles with keeping her true identity from him. As she battles with her conscious over the deception, she also continues to battle night terrors and the fear of returning home where everyone knows her.

Ryan witnesses one of Lexi’s most brutal night terrors, and she realizes that she must come clean with him about her true identify and her reasons for fleeing to St. John. Having bared her soul to Ryan, she also confesses her love.

After introducing Ryan to the eight family and friends she has remained in contact with, Lexi opens her heart and allows him in.

As Lexi shares her deepest fears with Ryan, she falls deeper and deeper in love with him. They embark on a romantic journey that intertwines them so closely that they can no longer imagine life without each other.

Ryan has obligations that require him to return home. When an unexpected tour is scheduled for his band, Lexi’s fears surge to the forefront, causing her to have to choose between her island sanctuary or returning home to a life where everyone knows her.

Lexi’s fears send her running from Ryan rather than to him. Two days before he is to leave to prepare for his tour, she disappears, telling no one where she is going. Ryan has no choice but to leave without her.

After weeks of batting her fears, Lexi realizes that she is unable to face life without Ryan. With guidance from her family and friends, she finds her courage to return home to him. She leaves her island sanctuary to return to the sanctuary she found in his arms.

Wanting to show Ryan the depth of her love, Lexi shows up at his concert near her hometown. In front of thousands of fans, she sings of her love for him and they are reunited.

Although Lexi is still afraid of being back home where everyone knows her, she knows that with Ryan she can get through anything. After all, true courage is facing what lies ahead when you are afraid.
