Krys is not looking forward to going home. She knows she is hated by the purists of her race and is no stranger to prejudice or bigotry. Her fears prove to be well founded when the trip turns deadly. When Krys is kidnapped shortly after Gareth meets her, his attempt to rescue her lands him in the most dangerous place any Demon can be, the Elven Home World of Era. He is powerless on a world that hates him. Gareth knows the only hope he and Krys has is to find a way off-world before they are hunted down and killed on sight.

They face a treacherous journey across Era with the help of two old friends, Baxter and Cassie. Can they learn to untangle of the strings holding them to the past and discover love before it is too late? Or, will the Elves of Era cut their journey short – forever?
