The Little Mermaid is a well-known fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, first published in 1837 and was adapted to many various cartoons and productions. The fairy tale is about young mermaid who wants to abandon her life in the sea and being mermaid in order to gain a human soul and the love of human prince.
The Mermaid is living under the sea in underwater kingdom with her father, who is the king of sea, her grandmother and her five sisters. Once a mermaid turns 15 she is permitted to visit upper world every year.
