THE MIGHTY KNIGHTS

For more than 100 years, The Mighty Knights have made a tremendous impact upon all of humanity, by supporting minorities, defending religious freedom, and giving generously to people who are in need.  Our great Order was founded by the honorable Father Michael J. McGivney, in 1882, for the purpose of providing financial assistance to its members and their families.  The Mighty Knights are comprised of Catholic men who vigorously and valiantly defend the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and are committed to defending The Christ.  We are men of great faith, very dedicated family men, blood donors, veterans, and men who engage in many acts of self-less love.  Over the last 10 years The Mighty Knights have donated an astronomical amount of $1.5 billion to various charitable causes, and in 2017, members of our great Order, collectively, have volunteered more than 75 million hours.   

One of our proudest moments was when our Supreme Knight, Carl A. Anderson presented a 280 page report, on March 9, 2016, to the U.S. State Department which documented that genocide was being committed against Christians, Muslims, Yazidis, and other religious sects.  One week later, on March 16, 2016, Secretary of State   John Kerry announced that the United States fully acknowledged that ISIS was committing genocide to all of these various religious groups, throughout the Middle East.  The Mighty Knights should be held in the highest regard as our document played an instrumental role in facilitating the ultimate defeat of ISIS, in Iraq, and Syria.    

Anti-Catholic bigotry was on full display, in late 2018.  Both Senator Mazie Hirono and Senator Kamala Harris engaged in dishonorable and disgraceful commentary about The Knights of Columbus, when questioning Brian C, Buescher, about his membership in The Mighty Knights.  As a result, I felt compelled to write The Mighty Knights as it presented a great opportunity to come forward and to tell our story, as we have so much to be proud of.   

Anti-Catholic bigotry and all other forms of religious bigotry should be castigated, as they are all disgraceful, and the individuals who perpetuate such behavior should be ashamed of themselves.
