The purpose of Viola Friends books is to inspire beginning string students and to give them a lot of joy with music. This is the 5th edition of Viola Friends 2. It presents young viola students to scales with flats and sharps, position playing, etudes by Sevcik and Komarovsky, duos by Wohlfart, Bach and Mazas, double-stops by Trott and great repertoire by the classical masters like Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky and Baklanova. The book ends with the famous violin concertos and concertinos by Rieding, Küchler and Seitz transposed for the viola.All of the Viola Friends books are intended to be used with the help of the YouTube Channel Violin Friends.
