Children enjoy trying out new foods and being in charge of their food instead of their food being in charge of them.
This is a self-help hypnotherapy recording for children of about 5 - 8 years. In addition to giving suggestions for physical relaxation, children listen to a story where they imagine going to a park with a 'children's help station' where their favourite movie characters help them to leave old fussy eating behind them and 'transform' themselves into positive eaters. There are powerful suggestions for being in charge of their food instead of their food being in charge of them. Also, suggestions for feeling happy and confident, and enjoying trying out new foods thus surprising and delighting their families with their new found abilities.
Lynda uses the power of the child's imagination through the use of relaxation and metaphor where the child is encouraged to mentally act out positive, effective solutions to a problem. Research confirms the success of this approach. The best time to listen is usually as the child relaxes before going to sleep. Listening to the recording should be additional to, and not in place of, any normal bedtime reading or listening. Lynda's gentle, well-modulated, English voice calms, re-assures and encourages as they listen.
