Brian had a streak of bad luck, just like anyone else - but this last year had been a regular banner year for karma to catch up with him and literally bite him on the derriere. 

It wasn't fair, he thought, glumly. 

None of it. What did I do to deserve all of this BS?

Why is karma biting me? This is NOT fair!

What Brian didn't realize was, he was about to meet up with a man who would show him that, no matter how unlucky Brian thought he was, he had plenty to be thankful for - if he just opened his heart to God.
