A Garden Romance: Brandon

Life has gotten too quiet for fifty-one-year-old Brandon Reese. When his old friend Rafael Angel Gutierrez suggests joining him in a small Florida town for some adventure the offer proves to be irresistible. They’ll be searching for the remains of a historic garden that will be the basis for two books. Rafael has even arranged for his friend to stay in a luxurious family home on an island. However there’s a problem at the island estate. Brandon has arrived a couple days earlier than expected but manages to find alternative lodging. The small town doesn’t turn out to be as quiet as it initially seemed. And adventure begins in earnest for him when he meets a traveling group of handsome bikers and joins in their sexy traditions. He also gets acquainted with several of the colorful citizens of the area some of whom harbor dark secrets.
His initial meeting with Rafael is delayed at which time he has a chance to get intimately acquainted with some of the handsome men in town. Brandon and his now deceased wife had experimented sexually in their marriage and it was she who’d introduced him to sex with men. Something he is now more than happy to engage in while on his adventure. Along the way he does indeed find love and romance but which man will win his heart. Drama ensues when an age old feud comes to a head right in front of him and he witnesses a violent attack. Just when things do start to get calm there’s another surprise.
Brandon’s son and three grandchildren arrive to check on him and visit a while. The son soon falls for the charms of the town himself and normally close father and son find themselves at odds. Things don’t go as planned when looking for the garden and Brandon finds new allies as well as a handsome love interest with strong connections to the town and island. Throw in a quirky new age male nurse slash artist, a friendly restaurant owner, and some curious senior residents and it’s a fun time. And Brandon has his stay at the island estate to look forward to as well as his meeting with the formidable hostess slash owner who may have ulterior intentions she’s holding back from everyone.
The only thing truly certain on this quirky adventure is that, despite all, it will have a happy ending.
