When Claire returns home to Conroy Island after walking out on her miserable job, she realizes that everything holding her and Grant back from being together has vanished. Determined to stand by his side as he and his brothers go through one of the worst losses of their lives, she realizes that every goal and dream she ever created pale in comparison to what she truly wants.

A life with Grant.

Up until now, their relationship has been strictly long-distance. But long-distance was never meant to be long-term. Even though Claire is back in his arms and a future together might be possible, plenty still lies between them and a chance at a happy ending. They're only back together on the Island temporarily, and while Grant's time is spent fighting to keep his family together, a new opportunity threatens to draw Claire back to the mainland and away from him for good. Reaching an impasse, the two of them will need to finally make a choice: move forward and give their relationship new life, or let it go for good?
