Amethyst Mask

Maple is a widow in her fifties, leading a very ordinary life. Then her old tutor draws her in to a search for an amethyst mask that will restore life. An incredible quest begins as they are joined by two unusual helpers and find themselves pursued by the Doctrine, a fanatical group of women. The trail leads around the world and finally to an underground land.
