Krispy 26 ,

A compelling read.

I had the privilege of reading this book some two parasangs from its starting point “Ephesus” - and was also lucky to visit some of the other sites mentioned, Miletus, The Meander River. Unlike other ancient writings like the Odyssey or the Iliad this was written in a language that is engaging and easy to follow, and not the flowery form the two more famous works mentioned by me were written in. My next objective is to read Xenophon’s other works.
